Dyztopia General Update


A few general changes added to Dyztopia


-New Enemy. Virgo Rising has been added. *the old Virgo Rising has been changed to "Iron Maiden" 


- Lots of enemies in the late game no longer absorb 4+ elements. Some enemies still do when it's their niche (Like the X, Y, and Z enemies) but the number of elements absorbed has been greatly reduced across the board.

-Hard Mode stat boost now affects more stats but is overall lower. The bonus HP is now converted to bonus Barrier.  This will make anti-barrier moves in hard mode more valuable. 

-You can now pick up new Shard and Weapon Mod Cards. Give these to Gotcha for a free Roll on their respective lists. Distribution on these cards is low for right now, but there will be more in the next update.

- The Zodiac stones all have new and improved sprites! 


- Skiing Area is now open in 3-2. The Skiing minigame is pretty hard, but you do get a cool Weapon Mod for doing it.

-All characters except for Akira have had their base Defence raised.  Some much more than others. 

And now for fixes.

- Magnets in 4-2 have been fixed to insure they don't get confused.

- The Timer in Stage 5 and Stage 9 is made invisible.  It now properly removes itself when it reaches 0.

-Several Angel moves have had their signature move updated, or added! They now have element combinations never seen before to add to their weird properties. 

- You can now backtrack in 8-2

-Tons of weapons descriptions have been fixed to include the proper parameter icon. (This change will NOT reflect your save unless you pick up a new version of the item.)

- Vengeance description made clear.

-Prologue Skip now workes properly

-Shadow Drop buffed now has Flash if you've triggered Dirge this turn. 

-Fixed oddities with Rowbot

-SPOILER has been fixed. Complete oversight that it used someone else's dialogue. 


I also wanted to talk about a couple more things.

Deviations scope has been increased to include much more post-game content than I thought initially, because of that, it'll take a couple more months before the new characters drop.  Originally I wanted the character Lunez, to be completely optional to the story and not have any impact, but that has changed somewhat. (He still doesn't impact the story altogether, but there are certainly changes when you rescue him)

 Second I wanted to thank everyone who reached out to me about Dyztopia and told me about their run and gave me feedback. Every single person that reached out to me has been extremely kind and has given me great insight,  so I wanted to thank you all for doing so, and I hope I can make a game that is a contender for one of your favorites.
